Euphyllia paradivisa, commonly known as the Branching Frogspawn Coral, is a popular large-polyp stony (LPS) coral in the aquarium hobby. It’s highly valued for its thick, bubbly tentacles resembling grapes or frog eggs, tree-like branching skeleton, and flowing movement in water, making it both beautiful and easier to propagate than its close relative, Euphyllia divisa (Wall Frogspawn).
Care in Aquariums:
- Lighting: Moderate.
- Water Flow: Low to Moderate, indirect.
- Placement: Middle to bottom of the tank. They have stinging tentacles and can be aggressive to nearby corals.
- Feeding: Mostly photosynthetic, but it can also take meaty foods like mysis shrimp, reef-roids.
