Euphyllia ancora (Special Colored)

Euphyllia ancora (Hammer Coral or Anchor Coral) is a beginner-friendly large polyp stony (LPS) coral known for its hammer- or anchor-shaped tentacles that gently sway in water flow. This coral is a great addition to any reef tank.

Care in Aquariums:

• Lighting: Low to Moderate.
• Water Flow: Low to Moderate.
• Placement: Middle to bottom of the tank. They have stinging tentacles and can be aggressive to nearby corals, making spacing important in aquariums.
• Feeding: Mostly photosynthetic, but it can also take meaty foods like mysis shrimp.
