Discosoma spp. (Blue) (Grade A)

Discosoma spp., commonly known as Mushroom Corals, are hardy corallimorphs prized for their fleshy, disc-shaped bodies and wide variety of colors and patterns. They can display shades of red, blue, green, purple, orange, often with stripes, spots, or fluorescent highlights. Their soft texture, vibrant appearance, and ability to thrive in a range of conditions make them a popular choice for both beginner and experienced reefkeepers.

Care in Aquariums:
• Lighting: Low to moderate
• Flow: Gentle to moderate
• Placement: Lower to mid rockwork; allow room for colonies to spread
• Feeding: Primarily photosynthetic but benefits from occasional fine particulate or powdered coral foods.
