Cyphastrea spp. (Ultra)

Cyphastrea is a small-polyp stony coral known for its encrusting growth pattern and texture, tightly packed corallites. It often forms colorful mats over rockwork, with shades ranging from greens and reds to purples and blues. Its hardy nature and relatively good growth make it an excellent choice for any reef tank.

Care in Aquariums:

• Lighting: Moderate
• Flow: Moderate; ensure water reaches all surfaces
• Placement: Mid to lower rockwork; can encrust over time
• Feeding: Generally photosynthetic, but occasional planktonic or powdered coral foods can enhance growth and color
