Discosoma neglecta (Green) (per ear)

Discosoma neglecta is a hardy corallimorph coral prized for its smooth, fleshy disc and vibrant coloration. Specimens commonly display shades of red, orange, green, blue, or purple, often with subtle patterns and fluorescent highlights under actinic lighting. As the coral expands, it forms a soft, rounded disc that adds color and texture to the reef aquarium. Its adaptability and ease of care make it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced reefkeepers.

Care in Aquariums:
• Lighting: Low to moderate
• Flow: Gentle to moderate
• Placement: Lower to mid rockwork; allow room for the colony to spread
• Feeding: Primarily photosynthetic but benefits from occasional fine particulate or powdered coral foods
